You received your workout program as a PDF, WhatsApp message, DOCX, or screenshot. Your coach prepared a complete plan — exercises, sets, reps, rest times, targeted muscle groups. But between the document and the gym, there's a gap: retyping all of it into an app takes time, kills motivation, and creates friction before your first session even starts. mebody removes that step. You import, validate, and train.

mebody detects exercises, sets, reps and weights from your document.

PDF, DOCX, Word, Excel table photos or notebook snapshots.

Your program is structured and launched as a workout session in seconds.
Most lifters receive their workout program in a non-executable format. A PDF with tables, copy-pasted text, a screenshot. To follow it properly at the gym, you have to transcribe everything — exercises, rep counts, rest times, set order, muscle groups. It's long, tedious, and often inaccurate.
Result: you follow your program by feel, forget rest times, mix up sessions, and your progress goes off track. mebody fixes this at the source.
The pipeline has four clear steps:
You paste your text directly or upload your PDF. mebody reads the structure: training days, exercises, sets, reps, rest times, dumbbells or bodyweight, machines or free weights. Regardless of your coach's format — full workout program, split, full body, push pull legs, circuit training — mebody extracts the essentials.
mebody automatically identifies the targeted muscle groups — chest, back, biceps, triceps, quads, glutes, abs, calves, deltoids, traps, lower back, hamstrings — and structures your workout sessions in a readable, executable format.
Before anything is created, you go through a validation screen. You check each session, each exercise, each rep count. If mebody hesitates on a detail — missing rest time, ambiguous exercise between high pulley and low pulley, Smith machine squat or free squat, incline or flat bench press — it asks a quick question. You fix it in 30 seconds.
You validate, mebody creates your workout sessions and adds them to your training calendar. You choose your days — two, three, four, five sessions per week — and you get a reminder before each workout. Zero retyping. Zero friction.
mebody handles all types of structured workout programs:
Gym programs with weight machines — bench press, rack squats, pull-ups, rows, deadlifts, lunges, leg press, high pulley, low pulley, military press, crunches, extensions.
Bodyweight and home fitness programs — push-ups, pull-ups, planks, jump rope, resistance bands, abs, lunges, squats, glute bridges, circuit training, HIIT, crossfit.
Mixed strength and cardio programs — workout sessions combined with cardio training, cardiovascular exercises, or cardio routines to burn calories and lose fat while building muscle mass.
Classic splits — push pull legs, upper/lower body, muscle group splits, full body, complete workout programs over 4 to 6 days.
The real gain comes after the import. In session mode, you launch your workout, use the built-in rest timer, and log your performance session after session — weights in kilos, rep counts, perceived effort, soreness, muscle contraction.
This data feeds mebody's Adaptive Progress Engine. After each workout session, it analyzes your progression on key exercises — bench press, squat, pull-ups, deadlift, rows, lunges — and proposes conservative adjustments: one more rep, 2.5 kg more, volume reduction, deload if fatigue rises, substitution if an exercise causes pain.
Each muscle group is tracked separately — biceps, triceps, chest, back, quads, glutes, abs, calves, upper body, lower body — for measurable and lasting muscle progression.
At this stage, mebody supports copy-pasted text and text-based PDF import (not scanned). If your workout program is a scan or image, the text version copied from your document remains the most reliable solution for clean extraction.
OCR import (screenshots, photos) is coming in an upcoming iteration.
